A beautiful sun kissed evening + a smiley happy family family = stunning images like these. Adele’s hubby and daughters had a great time recently when we headed to The Spit on the Gold Coast for their family portrait shoot.
Adele has a beautiful canvas wall print hanging proudly in her home now…lovely memories that will last forever.
Nicole and her VERY energetic twins spent a few hours with me recently playing, running and just generally doing what 3 year old twins do! These 2 definitely kept me on my toes. I quickly realised that sitting quietly was not going to be an option for this family portrait shoot, as there was just too much to see and do! So I captured them just as they are…funny, giggly, happy, playful. And their Mum couldn’t be happier with the beautiful results! Nicole now has a gorgeous canvas wall print of the 3 of them on her wall….priceless. Sx
Michelle wanted some beautiful images of her own family, as well as with her own Mum and Grandfather. I’m sure her kids will value these images for many years to come…how nice to have all the generations in one photo.
We went to a lovely little spot to do their family portrait session, and capture some lovely memories for everyone.
Enjoy these Sx
Carrie and John were recently married on a lovely sunny winters day on the Gold Coast. Currumbin Beach was the setting for their small and very heartfelt wedding, and Carrie was joined by 4 very gorgeous flower girls as she was walked down the aisle by her Dad. Carrie’s smile really said it all, it was such a lovely ceremony, followed by a group photo, smaller group photos, then a sunset mini session on the beach with the bride and groom.
Carrie and John then headed across the road to devour some amazing food and celebrate with their closest friends and family at Elephant Rock Cafe. They will be joined very soon by their first baby, due in a few months time. I wish them all the best for the future! Sx

For gorgeous Miss Ruby’s shoot, we decided to do some lifestyle at home shots. This type of newborn photography is very popular, and I love capturing you and you new baby in the comfort of your own home.
Ruby is just delicious, big congratulations to Louella and Mark Sx
This is Jan and her lovely family, all enjoying a catchup on the Gold Coast and some much needed family time.
I have photographed a lot of big family groups who are on holiday together on the Gold Coast. Our amazing weather and beaches make it the ideal spot for family reunions and holidays. You can’t go past those beautiful summer nights on the beach with a golden glow and lots of awesome clouds! Sx
When there’s something to celebrate (Such as a 50th wedding anniversary…congrats Fran and Graham!!) what nicer way to capture it than by having some professional photos done. This lovely family shoot was done around the Sheraton Mirage on the Gold Coast, and on the surrounding beach so that we could catch the last of the days lovely soft light. Enjoy Sx
Zac’s sister was visiting from overseas with her family, so some updated family portraits were in order. We headed down to Currumbin beach on the Gold Coast, and caught some amazing colours as the sky turned it on for us.
Enjoy these Sx
Its never too late to have family portraits done! This lovely family shoot was done a little while ago at one of my favourite locations on the Gold Coast. Kylie said she had been meaning to do it for years, and was thrilled with the results from their shoot. Sx
Miss Evie was only a few weeks old when we photographed her with her doting big sister and Mum and Dad. If you would like a newborn shoot done, I am more than happy to come to your home to capture some natural images of your precious bundle in the comfort of your own house. These sessions are typically called “lifestyle sessions” because we get to capture you just doing what you do, at home. I keep the amount of props to a minimum so that we can focus on you babies natural cuteness! Enjoy this lovely shoot. Sx
I love doing extended family photo shoots… what a great idea to get everyone together for some professional photos that you will cherish forever.
I always make sure I do as many combinations as I can so that every shot is covered and you have plenty of beautiful images to choose from. Enjoy these Sx
Here’s another gorgeous extended family portrait shoot…memories captured forever for Renee and her family to celebrate a birthday milestone for her Mum.
These were taken at one of my favourite Gold Coast beaches, and we were very lucky to have an amazing sunset with pastel skies and awesome clouds.
I loved everything about this shoot!
We had beautiful soft light and a lovely country feel location for this shoot with Caitlin, her gorgeous dog Lyla, and boyfriend Earl.
As Lyla is Caitlin’s “furbaby” it was great to be able to incorporate her into the shoot, and she behaved beautifully! Enjoy these gorgeous images. Sx
It was such a pleasure to capture beautiful memories (twice) for this gorgeous family down at Currumbin Beach. We shot there the second time to include Brett’s two lovely daughters in their family portraits, who were on the Gold Coast on holidays. As always, the landscape at Currumbin beach provided an awesome backdrop for this lovely family shoot. Enjoy these Sx
Its so hard putting together a favourites compilation! But here are some…..
2015 was such a great year for me professionally, with more beautiful family and kids portrait shoots (here on the always stunning Gold Coast as well as Brisbane) and lovely weddings captured. I was lucky enough to have been asked to shoot not one, but two international weddings (in the UK and in Mexico) which were done in the same trip back in June 2015. Wow! I still pinch myself that I was lucky enough to be able to do that!
So these images are my favourites for a whole variety of reasons…some I just loved all round (the colours, the location, the way mother nature helped me out just perfectly, etc). Some I loved because I was personally connected to them (my very good friends Tom and Michelle were married in Worthing, UK and I still get teary when I look at certain images, because I was there and I felt the emotions too.) When Tom and Michelle opened their wedding images package all the way over in the UK, they videoed it, and Michelle’s reaction was priceless, and there were tears (good ones!) from both her and I.
Other images I love because I know that I have managed to capture a personality or a connection just right, or was able to photograph families all together in one beautiful location for the first time in many many years….and these images of course became my clients favourites as well. Moments in time that can be relived and enjoyed for years to come.
I hope you enjoy looking at this collection of my favourite images from 2015
This lovely family wanted to capture some memories with their (very pretty) dogs Roxy and Pepper. We headed to a few favourite spots of mine here on the Gold Coast for their family portrait shoot. Pretty golden light, long grass, a bridge and a great old heritage building meant that we got lots of lovely images …. maybe too many for them to choose! They now have some gorgeous acrylic wall art for their home to treasure forever. It was such a pleasure capturing these images for them! Sx
My third international wedding took place in a beautiful resort in Los Cabos in Mexico. Wow, what an amazing experience and such a gorgeous location!
Renee and Mike were married in front of their friends and family on the grounds of the RIU Palace Resort, where they were all staying and enjoying a lovely holiday at the same time! Whats not to like about a destination wedding! Renee and Mike had stayed at the same resort before and fell in love with the amazing setting of beautiful blue sea and mountains, which certainly made for some stunning photos later in the day.
Renee looked amazing in her Rosa Clara gown, and all of her beautiful details and accessories matched perfectly. All 6 of her bridesmaids (and her gorgeous flowergirl Elin) helped her get ready, then it was time to walk out and marry her handsome groom on a very sunny, hot saturday afternoon. Their heartfelt ceremony was beautiful (and a little funny, thanks to their celebrant on the day) and once it was sealed with a kiss, the celebrations began with plenty of champagne to quench everyone’s thirst. Renee and Mike’s beautiful shoot with their bridal party was done around the grounds of the resort and in the stunning foyer…we didn’t have to look too hard to find beautiful backdrops. Later in the evening their dinner reception took place at the bottom of the resort with the sound of the beach behind us. It really was stunning, and everyone had a fantastic night (including me!)
I had such a great time capturing the wedding of such a beautiful loved up couple! Thanks Renee and Mike, and happy married life to you both! I will be visiting Mexico again for sure…… Sx

To say that I felt privileged to shoot Michelle and Tom’s beautiful UK wedding is a pretty big understatement. How lucky was I, to be flown from Australia to the UK to capture the special day of two of my closest friends!! Wow, such and honour, and such an amazing day!
Michelle and Tom’s love story started about 12 years ago when they met in Australia when Michelle was on holiday. Tom claims it was love at first sight for him, and they quickly became inseperable. Over the past 10 years they’ve travelled, and worked together, making lifelong friends wherever they ended up living. (PS. Michelle and Tom, PLEASE come back to Australia!!) Always together, in love, and always dreaming of the day that they would marry.
After what seemed like the world’s longest engagement, they were married in the quaint seaside town of Worthing, in the Worthing Dome’s Whispering Gallery at the top of the building. The building itself, which is also a cinema, is a 100 year old edwardian building, and full of character. Their nearest and dearest, who had all waited sooo patiently for this day, were all there (some having travelled far and wide to see this gorgeous pair finally tie the knot!) What a gorgeous, heart felt, emotional and happy day! The sun was shining and filled the room as they said their vows and sealed the deal with a very intense (faint inducing!) kiss. It was then champagne and congratulations before we headed out for their photo shoot around the pier in Worthing. Such beautiful shots, I could have gone on for hours, I really the love the feel and look of the pier, very cool! Their dinner reception was also held in the Worthing Dome, and everyone had an amazing time eating, dancing and enjoying the fun atmosphere that Michelle and Tom had created.
Guys, all my love and thanks! It was such a special experience to capture your long awaited day. I will remember it forever as one of the most full of love, happiest wedding days that I have ever been a part of. I still get teary when I look at your images……. Sx

On the day of Rosie and Steve’s lovely laid back Kingscliff wedding, you wouldn’t know that days previously there were some pretty crazy storms happening. Their love filled beach wedding was full of laughs and plenty of sunshine, the only hitch being the hasty relocation of their beach setup due to an incoming tide!
Rosie and her bridesmaids were relaxed and happy, getting ready at a nearby hotel in Kingscliff, as were Steve and the boys who were in the same hotel. Both Rosie and Steve’s Mum where on hand to help with the preparations, and there seemed to be no nerves at all…a very relaxed and chilled out morning!
Rosie and Steve were married at South beach at Sutherland Point, Kingscliff. There were plenty of laughs, and a few tears, as they said their vows in front of their families and closest friends. Their beautiful photoshoot was done on and around the beach, and as the sun set, we headed over to the Kingscliff Surfclub for their reception.
It was such a pleasure capturing the day of this very fun and happy couple! I wish you guys all the best for married life together. xxx S

This lovely family all came together on holidays to celebrate Pamela’s birthday.
I had a lovely time down at Currumbin beach capturing them all together, as well as all 9 grandkids together, and each family group as well. We made the most of the golden afternoon light, and the beautiful surroundings with the rocks and the beach.
What a great way to remember such a lovely occasion and special birthday. As well as some other gorgeous products, these guys will have some beautiful wall prints of their favourite images to grace their walls soon! Enjoy this lovely shoot Sx
Do you love dogs? Do you love puppies? Prepare to oooh, and aahhh, because this little girl is just adorable!
Meet Miss Indie, a scrumptious chocolate labrador. I had the pleasure of photographing her and her Mum Melissa on the Gold Coast recently (she’s a lot bigger now..why do they have to grow so fast!) Melissa works for the RSPCA, an organisation that I am proud to have an association with, so she is used to being surrounded by gorgeous animals. I think Indie takes the cake though (or the bone?) She’s definately Mummy’s girl, enjoy these gorgeous images. Sx
What more could you ask for than beautiful golden light, lovely colours and beautiful smiles. I love this shoot, it was such a pleasure to photograph this lovely family at Pizzey Park on the Gold Coast.
They now have some beautiful wall art to display proudly in their home. Enjoy these. Sx
When Kirsten and her family came to the Gold Coast for a holiday, she wanted to capture it with a lovely family portrait shoot on the golden sands of Kirra Beach. Enjoy this beautiful shoot! Sx
Donna and Scott wanted to have a portrait shoot done mark their first Wedding Anniversary…what a lovely way to celebrate! We headed to The Spit on the Gold Coat on a beautiful winter’s afternoon, and got some beautiful shots on and around the beach. The afternoon ended with an amazing sky and full moon!
Donna and Scott ordered a beautiful Jumbo Canvas Wall collection, plus another Jumbo Canvas and some digital files. Their wall prints will look amazing in their home! Enjoy these Sx
When my good friends Mel and Atsuto told me they would have both of their parents together on the Gold Coast to celebrate the birth of beautiful baby Maisie, I jumped at the chance of doing a shoot for them!
Atsuto’s parents came from Japan for a visit and made the most of their time on the Gold Coast spending time with their 3 gorgeous granddaughters. These girls are sooo delightful, and little Maisie was such a good baby. These kids are obviously used to being in front of the camera…Atsuto and Mel are both fantastic professional photographers, so I’m sure it was nice for them to actually be in front of the camera for a change. Enjoy this lovely family portrait shoot Sx
Aila is adorable, its as simple as that.
She is also a miracle baby. She belongs to my good friends Katie and Eric, who live in the States, but were here for a short time visiting. I am so lucky I got to meet and photograph Miss Aila in all of her squishy adorableness. Sx
Jenny and her family had a family portrait session done last year, so it was great to see them all again, plus a few little additions! Miss Izzie absolutely stole the show and provided us with lots of laughs!
I love this location, and am going to make sure I do a lot more shoots here this year…it’s perfect spot for a winter shoot too! Enjoy Sx
Jackie’s inlaws were visiting from overseas, so what better time to have some beautiful family portraits done while they were altogether.
Yes, this is definately one of my favourite spots on the Gold Coast to shoot, its always amazing, even when it rains! Love those umbrellas! Sx
Meet Rene and her gorgeous family, including Miss Kirra, who was only 5 weeks old when we did this family portrait shoot. She behaved herself beautifully, as did her doting brother Jake. Renee ordered a gorgeous metallic canvas print and some lumitiles from her session, which will look amazing in her home.
Enjoy these S x
Here’s another gorgeous little family, captured at Pizzey Park at the Gold Coast. So much cuteness, I don’t know where to start!
Little Braxton, you are just too cute! I’ll let the pictures do the talking. Enjoy this lovely shoot Sx
It was such a pleasure to shoot Christie and Scott’s beautiful wedding at Currumbin.
The day was stunning! Christie and the girls were very relaxed getting ready, and Christie’s details and styling were gorgeous. There were so many little details that were special and unique, including the antique cameo brooch which was fixed to her boquet. Scott’s great grandfather gave this special piece to his own fiance’ and it has been passed down through the generations, with Scott’s Mum Jenni also wearing it on her own wedding day, given to her by Scott’s great grandmother.
The boys got ready just next door to the ceremony location , which was at Len Wort Park near the beach. Thankfully the little bit of rain we had just before the beautiful bride arrived didn’t last, and Christie and Scott were married under blue skies amongst their family and friends, some of who came all the way from the UK and all around Australia to see these two get married. As Christie and Scott had met the night that Scott was wearing a band t-shirt of the Smiths, it was only fitting that she would walk down the aisle on the arm of her Mum to a Smiths song (“please please let me get what I want”)
Amazing styling by Inspired by Love Events ensured that the funky vintage vibe was established, and guest sipped on cool drinks and champagne, while congratulating the gorgeous couple. We then made use of the amazing car for photographs, (a 1961 Cadillac) before heading over to the park for more photos by the lake and trees. Thankfully I got the shot I had been envisioning all day, Scott and Christie walking along the sand dunes with those amazing clouds, before the newlyweds headed to their reception at the Currumbin Surf Club to celebrate.
Congrats guys, may married life be everything that you hope for. Sx

When my good friends Myra and Chris asked me to be their wedding photographer in New Zealand, I was thrilled..of course! Not only was I going to see New Zealand for the first time, but I was going to capture a wedding that I knew was going to have it all…gorgeous couple, gorgeous location, beautiful styling, lovely guests, and a chance for me to catch up with some of the old Camera House crew while we holidayed in NZ.
Chris and Myra met in their last year of High School (they were at the same school but had never met or seen each other until then) In Myra’s words..”We just fell in love based purely on enjoying each others company.”
Chris and his best man Marc chilled out by the beach on the morning of the wedding, with perfect weather, and no nerves in sight for Chris…he was too busy playing with his new toy (a vintage polaroid camera)
Myra looked stunning..naturally… and got ready at her parent’s home with some help from her bridesmaid Leah and her family. Myra’s detail were gorgeous, and her jewelled wedding bouquet was custom ordered from overseas.
The couple’s heartfelt ceremony took place at the stunning Bridgewater Country Estate in Auckland. Myra and Chris fell in love with this venue on first seeing it, and knew straight away that they wanted to celebrate their day there.
There was no-one happier than me to see my friends seal the deal with a kiss on the steps of the little chapel….these guys are meant for each other! We then walked around the beautiful gardens and found some gorgeous spots to have photos before their lovely reception took place . The room was decorated with a lovely vintage theme, and the custom m&ms were a sneaky suprise from Myra’s sister who bought them over in her luggage from the USA!
Chris’s good mate Chris (Sharpey) was the MC for the night, where the speeches kept everyone entertained (and a little teary!)
The beautiful cake was designed by the lovely bride herself! (beautiful AND clever!!!) Myra was overwhelmed to see her creation made to perfection, with the cake makers placing a small ruby made of icing on the back of the cake, a unique way to symbolise the beautiful ruby that is set in the engagement ring Chris gave Myra the day he proposed.
Enjoy these beautiful collection of images, which I think sum up the day perfectly..lots of love, and lots of laughs. Thankyou Myra and Chris for allowing me to be a part of your day Sxx

Rene and Dan are friends of mine, and I first did a shoot for them when Abi was just 6 months old. Now she’s all grown up and has the sweetest little sister Frankie (omg, those dimples!!)
We did this gorgeous shoot on the Gold Coast with the threat of rain hovering over us, but we got some very, very cute shots, and avoided the rain! I really love the picnic idea as props can really add to a portrait shoot. I’m always open to any suggestions or ideas you may have for your portrait session..we are only limited by our imaginations!
Enjoy these! Sx
I was so excited in the lead up to Teika, Matt and Bentley’s portrait shoot. Teika and I had scouted locations, and planned out what we were going to do for weeks. When Teika found the perfect indian headress to use in her shoot, we really got excited! Our locations were in the beautiful Currumbin Valley (a private residence that just so happened to have amaaazing spots to use every angle you turned, PLUS, a beautiful, friendly horse who was more than happy to pose for us…awesome…) and rock pools.
When I got Teika on her own, she was the perfect model. We even got some sizzling shots just for Matt’s eyes ..! She also wanted to include her furbaby Bentley in the shots, and the results were stunning. There were sooo many favourites from this shoot, too many to include. But here’s a taste of what we captured over 2 shoots in beautiful Currumbin. Enjoy these! A little different from my usual shoots, I loved every second of new locations, new ideas and being able to get nice and creative! Sx

You wouldn’t believe it was a winter’s shoot on the beach (although it was chilly) looking at these shoots of Joely and Drew and their two gorgeous boys.
We did their lovely family portrait shoot at The Spit on the Gold Coast, which has so many great spots to use. These guys were naturals in front of the camera…very relaxed, fun and chilled out.
I’m sure that I will run into Drew around the traps in the future…he’s a successful DJ here on the coast and works for United DJ’s of the Gold Coast.
Joely is a dancer (can’t you tell, look at that pointed toe!!), and runs Joely Jackson Studio of Dance. It was such a pleasure to record these special memories for such a lovely family. Enjoy these. Sx
